Independent bookshops have been doing 'Call of the Undertow' proud as it rolls out into the world. After Wigtown's 'Reading Lasses', the gorgeous and very central 'Looking Glass Books' hosted us in Edinburgh on 14th October. There are photos here as well as on on Freight's website. Note the bunting specially created from book      covers! The 19th was at my local bookshop the Aberfeldy Watermill (pictured) which has a gallery and cafe as well as great book browsing and is open seven days a week.                                                                                           The book has also attracted some good reviews: four stars in The Independent, and paperback of the week in the Herald.                                                                               Next: the North!
